My RIBA Part I internship indulged me in an array of work and developed for me, profound connections and dynamic skills through the means of architectural drawing, 3D modeling, interior design, visual merchandising and product and furniture design. In collaboration with principal architect Rooshad Shroff, a collection inspired by seasonal blooms was designed in order to be displayed at a future exhibit. Mr. Shroff, has an existing line of furniture, products, and lighting. A new floral pattern was developed and was hand carved by a specialized artisan on an alabaster vase, a lampshade, and a bulb. In addition to which, a similar pattern was created to be inlaid on a timber coffee table. We also press dried flowers, and designed panels that were coated in resin that formed the balustrade for a staircase designed by MuseLAB, Mumbai.
